King James Version

King James Version, or KJV, refers to a popular English translation of the Bible. The Old Testament of the Bible was written in the Hebrew and Aramaic languages more than 2000 years ago and the New Testament of the Bible was written in the Greek language about 2000 years ago. The King James Version of the Bible translated the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek passages into the English language. The KJV translation of the Bible was first published in 1611 in England.
