Israel is ruled by judges - not kings

About 1400 BC (About 3400 years ago): The land of Israel is ruled by a succession of judges from about 1400 BC to about 1050 BC, which is from about 3400 years ago to about 3000 years ago. The Israelites did not have a king during this time and instead relied on the judges to settle disputes.
