REGATHERING OF ISRAEL
During ancient times, many of the people of the land of Israel were exiled by the Assyrians and Babylonians. After the fall of the Babylonian Empire about 2500 years ago, many Jews returned to their homeland and began a process of rebuilding their fallen cities.
