Azubah was married to Caleb. In 1 Chronicles 2:18, the NIV translation says: "Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah (and by Jerioth). These were her sons: Jesher, Shobab and Ardon."
Some Bible scholars think that Jerioth might be another name for Azubah. Or she could be another wife of Caleb.
Azubah, wife of Caleb, is mentioned twice in the Bible, in 1 Chronicles 2:18 and 1 Chronicles 2:19.
The name Azubah means "deserted."
There are two women in the Bible named Azubah, one was married to Caleb and the other was the mother of King Jehoshaphat.
