Naamah, wife of King Solomon

Naamah was a wife of King Solomon and the mother of King Rehoboam. Naamah was an Ammonite.

There are two women in the Bible named Naamah. This Naamah is mentioned by name in three verses, in 1 Kings 14:21, 31; 2 Chronicles 12:13.

The name Naamah means "pleasant" or "sweetness."
